Steven B. Ray is an accomplished producer of film, music, television, and theater.  Mr. Ray formed Red River Pictures/ Locksmith Entertainment in 2012, securing financing for the 2013 Broadway musical production of Ghost.

His love of orchestral and popular music production took Mr. Ray to work for Quincy Jones, participating in many of the illustrious projects Mr. Jones created, including Michael Jackson’s iconic album Thriller, the USA for Africa benefit recording We Are The World, James Ingram’s platinum debut album, Frank Sinatra’s LA Is My Lady, and the film The Color Purple, for which Steven was a consultant for all on-camera musical casting and performances. He is a Spirit Award nominee for Best Film Music for New Line Cinema’s Hangin’ With The Homeboys, and is also credited for his work on Havana (Universal) and Forrest Gump (Paramount).

Steven B. Ray has enjoyed a broad career in the entertainment industry by thriving in a variety of roles and mediums.  Mr. Ray was senior executive at Capitol Records and a creative executive at Windswept Pacific Publishing. He maintains great relationships with the best talent in the popular music world, including Beyonce Knowles, Usher, and Anita Baker.
